Spring Fishing

So we did a little Spring Fishing out on the Mississippi river during the short week that we had warm weather before it got cold and snowed AGAIN.. lol :)  Here are a few of my favorite pics I got.

I cant wait to do more fishing... It was so much fun! (Not only cause I caught more fish than both the guys put together haha!)

Done Whining

Yep.. for real.. I'm done whining about the (stupid) snow we are STILL getting even though its supposed to be Spring! Ok, now I'm done whining LOL.  Instead I decided to take advantage of the beautiful fresh snow.  My man and I decided to go for a little drive and a little walk by the river.  I, of course, took photos all the way.  Here are a few of my favorite:

With all the snow, sleet and freezing rain we have been getting... I thought I would share some past pics from when the weather was warmer and nice.  Cant wait for the sun to come out and things to start melting and warming up again!

Spring Snow Storm

So we finally got hit with the snow storm the weather man has been talking about.  Thankful we didnt get hit as hard as some.  As much as I want the warm spring weather, I have to admit the snow was kind of pretty. While out for a little drive today I took a few pics.  These are not the greatest quality as most were taken from inside a moving vehicle.  And I felt super bad for the poor little ducks in the first pic!!

Tried a new recipe tonight, it was really good.  My 13 yr old even learned how to cook it. :)
